Erhan Coşkun is a certified public accountant and auditor.

He completed his studies in Public Administration at the Faculty of Political Sciences of Istanbul University and obtained his Master’s degree at the Institute of Social Sciences of Marmara University. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in the Department of Public Finance at the Institute of Social Sciences, Istanbul University, with his thesis focusing on “Tax Incentives for Research & Development”.

He began his professional life in 2002 as a deputy tax auditor in the provincial organization of the Ministry of Finance. Subsequently, he assumed roles in the central organization of the Ministry, starting as a trainee in external audit in 2004, becoming an external auditor in 2008, and finally serving as a tax inspector from 2011. Between 2011 and 2017, he held successive leadership positions at the Istanbul General Directorate of Tax Administration, overseeing various districts in Istanbul as the head of the application group. From mid-2014, he served as the director of the tax office in Kocaeli, one of Turkey’s leading industrial cities. From 2017 to 2019, Mr. Coşkun inspected diverse industries, including banks, financial institutions, construction, and sports clubs, as a tax inspector at the Istanbul Region Large Enterprises Directorate in the Tax Inspection Committee. Additionally, he served as a full member in various commissions, such as Whistleblowing and Examination Requests Evaluation Commission, Inspection-Report Evaluation Commission and Invitation to Explanation Commission. He resigned from his position as a tax inspector at the end of 2019 and became one of the founding members of NELSUS Yeminli Mali Müşavirlik A.Ş., NELSUS Bağımsız Denetim A.Ş., and NELSUS Kurumsal Hizmetler Denetim ve Danışmanlık A.Ş..

Mr. Coşkun, who has authored numerous articles in the field of tax law, held the position of Editor-in-Chief of Vergi Sorunları Dergisi, a prestigious journal in Turkey specializing in tax law, from 2018 to 2020. He continues to be a member of the editorial board. His experience gained at the Ministry of Finance has been consolidated through his academic work. Currently serving as the head of the Istanbul branch of the NELSUS Group, his expertise extends to auditing, tax refund, external audit consulting, R&D incentives, fraud audit, establishment and organizational structure of companies, tax planning, and more. He also has significant experience in the fields of Concordat Commissioner and Expertise. Mr. Coşkun also possesses a strong command of the English language in writing.
